The Adult’s Halloween Costume Party will be held on Friday evening, October 28th from 9 to 12 Midnight, (the bewitching hour). For this event there will be a $10 cover charge because it includes an Hors d’oeuvres Bar. Entertainment for this evening will be provided by PA Crude from 9 to 12. Get your costumes ready and come to the Moose for a really ‘scary’ time.

The Children’s Halloween Costume Party will be held on Saturday October 29 from 11 am to 1 pm. A light lunch will be included with this party too. Be creative and start gathering together a costume for the prettiest, ugliest and funniest little person at the Moose.

Hello All,

As I write this I sit in my office a little frustrated and a lot disappointed. If you recall in my last message to you, I spoke of out depleting membership numbers and asked for your help in sponsoring new members.

To date I have received 3 applications for the LOOM. All three applicants were sponsored by members of the WOTM. This means that none of the 780 men of this lodge took the opportunity to add to our rolls.

We here at Selinsgrove 1173 are trying to give everyone a reason to participate in Moose activities. We have scheduled a pig roast, cash bash,
Mari-o-kee and have live music as well as DJ’s scheduled throughout the fall and will be returning to our regular Friday Night dining in September.

We are celebrating Mooseheart sports with Red Rambler Days, there will be Halloween parties for both kids and adults, the very popular chicken pops are returning.

As stated above, you can see we are trying to encourage participation and motivate you to invite your friends and family to join us.

I thank you for taking the time to read this and pray you all enjoy the upcoming Autumn and enjoy the lack of heat and humidity.

Fraternally, Ray Mausteller Administrator
